Burke stayed tight even as more homes came to market
More homes came to market in Burke. That sounds like relief for buyers. But the Real Estate Data Aggregator counted only 0.9 months of supply for the three months ending August 31, 2026. That number tells you the market stayed very tight, even with the added listings.
For context, Realtor.com reported that active listings nationally topped 1.16 million homes in September 2026. Burke did not follow that looser national pattern. The Real Estate Data Aggregator showed homes for sale here actually fell 5.9% year over year, to just 48 homes.
More sellers came in, but buyers kept pace
The Real Estate Data Aggregator counted 145 new listings in Burke for the three months ending August 31, 2026. That is up 15.1% from the same period in 2025. Sellers did show up in greater numbers. But buyers showed up too. The Real Estate Data Aggregator counted 161 homes sold, up 11% from a year before. Pending sales rose 12.2%, to 138.
Prices held almost exactly steady
The Real Estate Data Aggregator put the median sale price in ZIP 22015 at $696,250 for the three months ending August 31, 2026. That is up just 0.2% from the same period in 2025. Prices did not fall, but they did not leap either. That is a calmer picture than the Federal Housing Finance Agency reported nationally, where U.S. house prices rose 2.4% from August 2025 to August 2026.
Homes still sold fast, and mostly over list
The Real Estate Data Aggregator found the median days on market held at 26 days, unchanged from a year before. Not every home sold instantly. But more than half did sell above the asking price. The Real Estate Data Aggregator put that share at 53.4%, up 7.2 points from 2025. The average sale price as a share of list price came in at 101%, also unchanged from a year before.
Speed was also a theme. The Real Estate Data Aggregator found that 64.5% of Burke homes went under contract within two weeks of listing. That share was up 5.1 points from 2025. Nationally, mortgage rates climbed above 7% for the first time since January 2025, according to Realtor.com. That kind of rate tends to slow buyers down. Burke buyers did not slow down much.
What this means if you own a home here
More sellers entered the Burke market than a year ago. That is a real change. But 0.9 months of supply is still very low. Buyers had a few more choices, but not many. The average sale came in at 101% of list price, per the Real Estate Data Aggregator. Pricing carefully still matters. A home priced well moved in about 26 days. One priced too high in this market still faces real competition from other listings.
- Burke saw more new listings and more sales in the three months ending August 31, 2026. Months of supply still sat at just 0.9, per the Real Estate Data Aggregator.
- More than half of homes sold above list.
- The market added a little breathing room, but stayed firmly on the seller's side of the ledger.
One more thing to keep in mind: these numbers cover all of ZIP 22015. One street can read very differently from the whole ZIP code. A block closer to a park, a school or a main road can see faster sales or a different price. Your address has its own story inside these numbers.
